Biomimicry Education



To better understand the ecology and natural environment of the Alchemist Garden, we have several projects studying the various biomes possible for the game based on real-life locations.

Levant- Lebanon

The Levant Bioregion is rich in ecological and cultural diversity. 25 interns have been working on projects over the past 3 years. Our Journey with the Myrrhophores Project will explore sacred sites, plants, and rituals of ancient and modern times .

Broadleaf- Maine

UMaine - A Genius of Biome focused on repurposing woody biomass energy plants for biofuels, agriculture, and aquaculture was completed in Spring 2021 with ASU Master Biomimicry students. Ecosystem quests and natural system models are underway this spring.

South Africa

An exploration of medicinal plants from the Fynbos biome of the Western Cape of S. Africa. A team of Biology Master level students are working with graphic design interns to develop quests, storyboards, and digital assets .
